An interesting cell phone we have evaluated is the HTC Surround, a cell phone that has been created to rival this year's market. Having a dimension of only 120 x 62 x 14 mm and weighting only 171 g, this item´s size will please its users. This phone arrives with a 1230 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4 hours hours and lets in standby mode about 11 days hours. Its engineers included a 16.0 GB memory, enough a normal use! A cool thing of the HTC Surround is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 480 x 800 px.
If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy the Surround has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the HTC Surround is running on Xbox Live / Windows Marketplace for Mobile, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the Surround offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and any multimedia file! The text prediction system exploits the Handwriting Recognition technology, which is very easy to use.
The Surround supports streaming media using the AT&T Mobile TV (MPEG-4 / AVI / 3GP / 3G2 / ASF / WMV / YouTube) technology. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer information.
