Kyocera Rave (KX434) review
A great phone we had a look at is the Kyocera Rave (KX434), a cell phone that has been created to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/10/2003 the Rave (KX434) supports the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 112 x 49 x 23 mm while weighting only 100 g, this phone has a perfect design. This phone arrives with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.50 hours and provides in standby mode 180 hours. The screen on this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 104 x 80 px. Kyocera has equipped its Rave (KX434) with a 16 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add tons of ringers.
If you like skinnable phones you will like to know the Rave (KX434) supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Kyocera Rave (KX434) is based on BREW, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the Rave (KX434) supports both SMS and EMS. The phone has a calendar which is very intuitive and Kyocera included a phone book with a capacity of 200. The prediction text tool exploits the eZiText technology, being a top system for easy using.
The data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. We conclude believing the Kyocera Rave (KX434) to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
