An outstanding phone we had the chance to test is the LG CU500v, a phone that was conceived to rival a very competitive market. Being of size 97 x 50 x 19 mm and weighting only 105 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. This cell phone comes with a 1100 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5 hours hours and provides in standby mode 10 days hours. Its engineers included a 16.0 MB memory, just enough a normal use! A cool thing of the LG CU500v is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 220 px.
LG has designed its CU500v with a 72 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you like skinnable phones you will be happy the CU500v enables custom. The gaming engine LG CU500v is running on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the CU500v supports both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The phone includes a calendar which is well designed and LG equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 500.
The predictive text system exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The CU500v supports streaming media being based on the Cingular Video / MobiTV technology.
