LG Octane review
A notable phone we had the chance to review is the LG Octane, a cell phone that has been created to rival a very competitive market. Being of size 107 x 55 x 16 mm and having a weight of only 128 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. This phone arrives with a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 6.3 hours hours and lets in standby mode about 14.2 days hours. Its creators added a 120.0 MB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! A cool thing of the LG Octane is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 320 x 240 px.
If you like skinnable phones you will be happy to know the Octane supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the LG Octane runs on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the Octane enables both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and LG equipped it with a phone book having a capacity of 1000. The text prediction system uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The Octane supports streaming media using the VCAST Video technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange information. We finish by believing the LG Octane to be a very interesting cell phone and we happily suggest it to someone in search of a good phone!
