LG Thrive review
A special phone we had a look at is the LG Thrive, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize a very competitive market. Its creators incorporated a 160.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the LG Thrive is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 320 x 480 px. If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy the Thrive supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the LG Thrive runs on Android Market, having cool little games to play with! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the Thrive supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The text prediction system is using the Handwriting Recognition technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The Thrive does support streaming media based on the AT&T Video (MPEG-4 / H.263 / WMV3 / YouTube) technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange data between both systems.
