Unveiled around 01/10/2006 the Q (Black) is supporting the networks CDMA 800 / CDMA 1900. Being of size 117 x 64 x 12 mm and having a weight of only 115 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Motorola Q (Black) comes with a powerful camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 1024 px / Flash / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 1130 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 3.33 hours and gives in standby 200 hours. Its creators added a 49.5 MB memory, enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
A cool thing of the Motorola Q (Black) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 320 x 240 px. If you like phones that uses skins you will like to know the Q (Black) supports custom themes. The gaming engine Motorola Q (Black) is running on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the Q (Black) offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The text prediction system is using the iTAP technology, being a top system for easy using. The Q (Black) supports streaming media based on the Windows Media Player technology. This cell phone uses the cdma2000 1xEV-DO technology. The Q (Black) uses an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc.
