Motorola V186 review
An interesting cell phone we have experimented is the Motorola V186, a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/1/2005 the V186 works under the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 86 x 45 x 25 mm and weighting only 92 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The phone is equipped with a 820 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5.83 hours and provides in standby mode 275 hours. Its engineers included a 1.8 MB memory, enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the Motorola V186 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 128 x 128 px.
Motorola designed the V186 with a 24 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add many ringtones. If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy the V186 has customizable themes enabled. The gaming engine Motorola V186 runs on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the V186 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The phone has a calendar which is well designed and Motorola included a phone book with a capacity of 500.
The text prediction system is using the iTap technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We believe the Motorola V186 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
