A special phone we had the chance to review is the Motorola W7 (Active Edition), a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Measuring only 99 x 49 x 15 mm and weighting only 105 g, this phone has a perfect design. The phone is equipped with a 910 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 6.00 hours and lasts in standby around 300 hours. Its creators added a 30.0 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! A cool thing of the Motorola W7 (Active Edition) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px.
If you love to skin your phone you will appreciate to know that the W7 (Active Edition) has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Motorola W7 (Active Edition) is running on J2ME / Motion-Controlled Games, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the W7 (Active Edition) supports both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The prediction text tool exploits the iTAP technology, which is renowned as a good tool.
The W7 (Active Edition) does support streaming media being based on the MPEG-4 / H.263 / H.264 technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share information. We have found the Motorola W7 (Active Edition) to be a fantastic cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
