An interesting cell phone we have evaluated is the Nokia 3588i, a phone that was conceived to rival the mobile phone market. Released around 01/10/2003 the 3588i functions under the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 117 x 49 x 24 mm while weighting only 117 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.00 hours and gives in standby 288 hours. Its engineers included a 150 KB memory, enough a normal use! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 96 x 65 px. Nokia has created its 3588i with a 4 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add several ringtones.
The gaming engine Nokia 3588i is running on , supporting fun little games! The phone has a calendar which is very intuitive and Nokia equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 500. The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Nokia 3588i to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we happily suggest it to someone in search of a good phone!
