Nokia 3620 review
An extraordinary mobile phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 3620, a phone that was conceived to compete a very competitive market. Launched around 01/10/2003 the 3620 supports the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Measuring only 130 x 57 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 130 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Nokia 3620 is equipped with an interesting camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Video Recorder. It comes with a 850 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 200 hours. Its creators incorporated a 3.4 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! Adding to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Nokia 3620 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 208 px. Nokia designed the 3620 with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add several ringtones. The game collection included in the Nokia 3620 is running on J2ME / Symbian OS, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the 3620 supports both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The phone includes a calendar which is well designed and Nokia provided a phone book having a contact list capacity of 500. The prediction text tool is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The 3620 does support streaming media using the RealOne / H.263 / MPEG-4 technology. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 6) technology.
The 3620 uses an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer information. We believe the Nokia 3620 to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
