Nokia 6270 review
A notable phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 6270, a phone that was conceived to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/10/2005 the 6270 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 104 x 50 x 23 mm and weighting only 125 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Nokia 6270 also includes a powerful camera of 2.0 MP / 1600 x 1200 px / 5X Zoom / Flash / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 970 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5.00 hours and gives in standby 240 hours. Its creators added a 31 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
An interesting option of the Nokia 6270 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. Nokia has equipped its 6270 with a 64 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add tons of ringers. If you love to skin your phone you will be happy to know the 6270 supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Nokia 6270 runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 6270 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The 6270 does support streaming media being based on the 3GPP / H.263 Video / MPEG-4 / AMR technology. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology.
The 6270 is built with an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange information. We finish by believing the Nokia 6270 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
