A great phone we had a look at is the Nokia 6682, a cell phone that has been created to revolutionize a very competitive market. Launched around 01/7/2005 the 6682 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 108 x 55 x 21 mm and having a weight of only 131 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Nokia 6682 comes with a powerful camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 6X Zoom / Flash / Burst Mode / Video Recorder. It comes with a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 264 hours. Its creators added a 10 MB memory, enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with RS-MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Nokia 6682 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 208 px. If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy to know the 6682 supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Nokia 6682 is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 6682 has support for both SMS and EMS.
It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The 6682 supports streaming media exploiting the RealPlayer technology. This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We conclude believing the Nokia 6682 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
