Nokia 8800 Arte review
A notable phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 8800 Arte, a cell phone that has been created to rival the mobile phone market. Measuring only 109 x 46 x 15 mm while weighting only 150 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Nokia 8800 Arte is equipped with an interesting camera of 3.2 MP / 8X Zoom / Auto-Focus / Landscape View / Video Recorder. It comes with a 1000 mAh battery, enough to talk for about 3.33 hours and lasts in standby around 300 hours. Its creators added a 1.0 GB memory, enough a normal use! An interesting option of the Nokia 8800 Arte is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 240 x 320 px.
Nokia designed the 8800 Arte with a 64 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add tons of ringers. If you love to skin your phone you will be happy the 8800 Arte enables custom. The gaming engine Nokia 8800 Arte is based on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the 8800 Arte enables both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The phone includes a calendar which is very intuitive and Nokia included a phone book enabling a contact list of 1000.
The text prediction tool uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The 8800 Arte supports streaming media being based on the 3GPP / H.263 / H.264 technology. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer information. We believe the Nokia 8800 Arte to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
