Nokia N70 review
A special phone we had the chance to test is the Nokia N70, a phone that was designed to revolutionize this year's market. Launched around 01/7/2005 the N70 supports the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / WCDMA 2100. Being of size 109 x 53 x 22 mm and weighting only 126 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Nokia N70 also includes a beautiful camera of 2 MP / 1600 x 1200 px / 20X Zoom / Flash / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 970 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.50 hours and provides in standby mode 264 hours. Its engineers included a 30 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with RS-MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Nokia N70 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 208 px. Nokia created the N70 with a 64 chords ringtones engine, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. If you like skinnable phones you will like to know the N70 enables custom. The gaming system included in the Nokia N70 is based on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the N70 enables both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The N70 does support streaming media using the RealPlayer technology. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer data between both systems.
