Nokia N80 review
An extraordinary mobile phone we have evaluated is the Nokia N80, a phone that was conceived to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/4/2006 the N80 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / WCDMA 1900 / 2100. Measuring only 95 x 50 x 26 mm while weighting only 134 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Nokia N80 also includes a compact camera of 3.0 MP / 2048 x 1536 px / 20X Zoom / Flash / Close-Up Mode / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 820 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 3.00 hours and gives in standby 192 hours. Its creators added a 40 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
A cool thing of the Nokia N80 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 352 x 416 px. Nokia designed the N80 with a 64 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add many ringtones. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy the N80 has customizable themes enabled. The gaming engine Nokia N80 runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the N80 has support for both SMS and EMS.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all your multimedia messages! The prediction text tool is based on the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The N80 supports streaming media based on the RealPlayer / 3GPP / H.263 Video / MPEG-4 / AMR technology. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE / WCDMA technology.
The N80 comes with an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Nokia N80 to be an awesome cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
