Nokia N96 review
A fantastic cell phone we had a look at is the Nokia N96, a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Having a dimension of only 103 x 55 x 18 mm and weighting only 125 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Nokia N96 is including an interesting camera of 5.0 MP / 2592 x 1944 px / Flash / Zoom / Auto-Focus / Macro / Video Recorder / Video Calling. The phone is equipped with a 950 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.67 hours and lets in standby mode about 220 hours. Its engineers included a 16.0 GB memory, enough for a regular use! An interesting option of the Nokia N96 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px.
If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate to know that the N96 enables custom. The gaming system included in the Nokia N96 is running on J2ME, supporting fun little games! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the N96 enables both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The N96 does support streaming media being based on the DVB-H / MPEG4 / H.264 / AVC / H.263 / RealVideo technology. The data transfer uses the HSDPA technology.
