A notable phone we had the chance to review is the Pantech Impact, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Being of size 106 x 52 x 18 mm while weighting only 125 g, this phone has a perfect design. The phone is equipped with a Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 5.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 336 hours. Its engineers included a 80.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! An attractive option of the Pantech Impact is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 400 x 240 px. If you like skinnable phones you will appreciate to know that the Impact has customizable themes enabled.
The gaming engine Pantech Impact is based on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the Impact supports both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Pantech equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 1000. The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool.
The Impact is supporting streaming media of type exploiting the AT&T Video technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange information. We have found the Pantech Impact to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to our readers!
