Being of size 108 x 64 x 10 mm and weighting only 92 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Pantech Slate (C530) is equipped with a compact camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 2X Zoom / Self-Timer / Video Recorder / Video Share. It comes with a 930 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.00 hours and provides in standby mode 240 hours. Its creators added a 20.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! A cool thing of the Pantech Slate (C530) is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 220 x 176 px.
If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy to know the Slate (C530) supports custom themes. The gaming engine Pantech Slate (C530) is running on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the Slate (C530) supports both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very easy to use and Pantech provided a phone book having a capacity of 600.
The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The Slate (C530) supports streaming media based on the AT&T Video / Windows Media Player technology. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange data between both systems.
