RIM BlackBerry 7290 review
A great phone we had the chance to test is the RIM BlackBerry 7290, a cell phone that has been created to compete a very competitive market. Released around 01/1/2005 the BlackBerry 7290 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 114 x 74 x 23 mm and weighting only 139 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 216 hours. Its engineers included a 32 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 160 px.
The game collection included in the RIM BlackBerry 7290 is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the RIM BlackBerry 7290 to be a great cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
