An outstanding phone we had the chance to test is the RIM BlackBerry Curve (8900), a phone that was conceived to revolutionize this year's market. Being of size 109 x 60 x 14 mm and weighting only 110 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The RIM BlackBerry Curve (8900) also includes a nice little camera of 3.2 MP / Flash / 2X Zoom / Auto-Focus / Image Stabilization / Video Recorder. It comes with a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 5.50 hours and provides in standby mode 356 hours. An attractive option of the RIM BlackBerry Curve (8900) is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 480 x 360 px.
If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate the fact that the BlackBerry Curve (8900) has customizable themes enabled. The gaming engine RIM BlackBerry Curve (8900) is based on J2ME, supporting fun little games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the BlackBerry Curve (8900) offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The predictive text system is using the SureType technology, which is very easy to use.
The BlackBerry Curve (8900) is supporting streaming media of type exploiting the DivX / MPEG-4 / H.263 / WMV3 technology. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer information.
