An admirable cell phone we had a look at is the Samsung MM-A800 (SPH-A800), a cell phone that has been created to compete the mobile phone market. Released around 01/4/2005 the MM-A800 (SPH-A800) is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 100 x 49 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 144 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Samsung MM-A800 (SPH-A800) is equipped with a compact camera of 2.0 MP / 2.5X Zoom / Flash / Auto Focus / Multi-Shot / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 200 hours.
Its engineers included a 6 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with TransFlash / microSD memory cards. The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 240 x 320 px. Samsung has created its MM-A800 (SPH-A800) with a 64 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add a lot of ringtones. If you like phones that uses skins you will like to know the MM-A800 (SPH-A800) supports custom themes. The gaming engine Samsung MM-A800 (SPH-A800) runs on J2ME / 3D Gaming, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the MM-A800 (SPH-A800) supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The calendar available is well designed and Samsung included a phone book having a capacity of 500. The text prediction tool exploits the eZiText technology, which is very easy to use. The MM-A800 (SPH-A800) is supporting streaming media of type being based on the Sprint TV technology.
The High speed data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange information. We finish by believing the Samsung MM-A800 (SPH-A800) to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
