A special phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SCH-I600 (SP-I600), a cell phone that has been created to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Released around 01/10/2003 the SCH-I600 (SP-I600) is supporting the networks CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 90 x 54 x 23 mm while weighting only 130 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The phone is equipped with a 900 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.17 hours and lets in standby mode about 240 hours. Its creators incorporated a 32 MB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! Adding to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with SD / MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Samsung SCH-I600 (SP-I600) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 176 x 220 px. The gaming engine Samsung SCH-I600 (SP-I600) is running on Smartphone 2003, having cool little games to play with! The phone has a calendar which is very easy to use and Samsung provided a phone book enabling a contact list of 500. The text prediction tool is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The SCH-I600 (SP-I600) is supporting streaming media of type based on the Windows Media Player technology. This cell phone uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. The SCH-I600 (SP-I600) is also equipped with an infrared port for all your data transfer. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to share information.
