An admirable cell phone we had a look at is the Sanyo Katana DLX, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Sanyo has designed its Katana DLX with a 72 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add a lot of ringtones. The gaming system included in the Sanyo Katana DLX is based on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the Katana DLX supports both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Sanyo equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 500. The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The Katana DLX supports streaming media using the Sprint TV technology. This cell phone is using the cdma2000 1xEV-DO technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange data between both systems.
