An outstanding phone we had the chance to review is the Sanyo PM-8200 (SCP-8200), a cell phone that has been created to rival this year's market. Released around 01/4/2004 the PM-8200 (SCP-8200) is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Being of size 85 x 47 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 103 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sanyo PM-8200 (SCP-8200) is equipped with a powerful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Self-Timer / Multi-Shot. The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.00 hours and gives in standby 288 hours.
Its creators added a 1 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the Sanyo PM-8200 (SCP-8200) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 132 x 160 px. Sanyo has designed its PM-8200 (SCP-8200) with a 32 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add a lot of ringtones. The game collection included in the Sanyo PM-8200 (SCP-8200) is based on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the PM-8200 (SCP-8200) supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The phone includes a calendar which is very easy to use and Sanyo equipped it with a phone book having a contact list capacity of 300. The predictive text system uses the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology.
It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to share data between both systems. We conclude believing the Sanyo PM-8200 (SCP-8200) to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a good phone!
