Sanyo SCP-8100 review
A special phone we had the chance to review is the Sanyo SCP-8100, a phone that was designed to rival a very competitive market. Released around 01/4/2003 the SCP-8100 is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 85 x 47 x 29 mm and having a weight of only 110 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Sanyo SCP-8100 comes with a beautiful camera of 0.1 MP / 352 x 288 px. It comes with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 2.80 hours and provides in standby mode 257 hours. Its creators incorporated a 512 KB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! The nice screen of this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 120 x 144 px.
Sanyo has modeled its SCP-8100 with a 32 chords ringtones engine, making a great phone for you to add many ringtones. The gaming system included in the Sanyo SCP-8100 is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and clips! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Sanyo included a phone book enabling a contact list of 300. This cell phone is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology.
Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Sanyo SCP-8100 to be a very interesting cell phone and we happily suggest it to someone in search of a good phone!
