An extraordinary mobile phone we had the chance to review is the Sanyo VM-4500 (SCP-5500), a cell phone that has been created to rival a very competitive market. Released around 01/10/2003 the VM-4500 (SCP-5500) works under the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 91 x 47 x 27 mm and weighting only 109 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Sanyo VM-4500 (SCP-5500) also includes a powerful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 16X Zoom / Flash / Video. The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.25 hours and gives in standby 240 hours.
Its engineers included a 1.4 MB memory, enough for your daily tasks! A cool thing of the Sanyo VM-4500 (SCP-5500) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 132 x 176 px. Sanyo has equipped its VM-4500 (SCP-5500) with a 32 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add a lot of ringtones. The game collection included in the Sanyo VM-4500 (SCP-5500) is based on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! The calendar available is very intuitive and Sanyo provided a phone book enabling a contact list of 300.
The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to share information.
