Siemens C61 review
An outstanding phone we had the chance to test is the Siemens C61, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize this year's market. Launched around 01/1/2004 the C61 functions under the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 110 x 47 x 23 mm while weighting only 85 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. This cell phone comes with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.50 hours and gives in standby 250 hours. Its creators added a 1.8 MB memory, enough for a regular use! A cool thing of the Siemens C61 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 101 x 80 px.
Siemens has designed its C61 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, making a great phone for you to add many ringtones. The game collection included in the Siemens C61 runs on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the C61 has support for both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The predictive text system exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use.
This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Siemens C61 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
