Siemens M55 review
A notable phone we had a look at is the Siemens M55, a phone that was designed to compete the mobile phone market. Released around 01/4/2003 the M55 is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 101 x 46 x 21 mm while weighting only 83 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. This phone arrives with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5.00 hours and provides in standby mode 250 hours. Its creators incorporated a 1.6 MB memory, enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the Siemens M55 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 101 x 80 px.
Siemens created the M55 with a 16 chords ringtones engine, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. The gaming system included in the Siemens M55 is based on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the M55 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The phone includes a calendar which is very intuitive and Siemens included a phone book having a contact list capacity of 500.
The predictive text system uses the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The M55 is also equipped with an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer information. We conclude believing the Siemens M55 to be a fantastic cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
