An admirable cell phone we had the chance to test is the Siemens SX1, a phone that was designed to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/10/2003 the SX1 works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 109 x 56 x 19 mm while weighting only 116 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Siemens SX1 is equipped with a beautiful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 8X Zoom / Rotate / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 4.00 hours and lasts in standby around 200 hours. Its creators incorporated a 4 MB memory, a good quantity for your daily tasks! Adding to its internal memory external memory can be added of format MMC memory cards.
An interesting option of the Siemens SX1 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. Siemens designed the SX1 with a 24 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add tons of ringers. The game collection included in the Siemens SX1 runs on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Siemens provided a phone book with a capacity of 100.
The text prediction tool is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The SX1 does support streaming media being based on the RealPlayer technology. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The SX1 includes an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange information.
