It comes with a Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 10 hours hours and gives in standby 16.7 days hours. Its creators added a 16.0 GB memory, enough a normal use! An attractive option of the Sony Xperia Ion is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 720 x 1280 px.
If you like skinnable phones you will be happy to know the Ion supports custom themes. The game collection included in the Sony Xperia Ion runs on Android Market, supporting fun little games! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the Ion enables both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The prediction text tool is based on the Handwriting Recognition technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The Ion does support streaming media being based on the YouTube technology.
