A fantastic cell phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson J220a, a phone that was designed to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/1/2006 the J220a supports the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 102 x 44 x 18 mm and weighting only 83 g, this phone has a perfect design. This phone arrives with a Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 6.00 hours and provides in standby mode 280 hours. Its creators added a 500 KB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the Sony Ericsson J220a is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 128 x 128 px.
Sony Ericsson has designed its J220a with a 32 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add several ringtones. If you love to skin your phone you will appreciate the fact that the J220a has customizable themes enabled. Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the J220a enables both SMS and EMS. You also have MMS messages enabled to send all multimedia files! The phone has a calendar which is well designed and Sony Ericsson equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 500.
The text prediction system uses the T9 technology, being very easy to use. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. We have found the Sony Ericsson J220a to be a fantastic cell phone and we happily suggest it to anyone interested in a good phone!
