An outstanding phone we had the chance to test is the Sony Ericsson K510a, a cell phone that has been created to compete a very competitive market. Launched around 01/4/2006 the K510a functions under the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 102 x 44 x 18 mm and having a weight of only 82 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sony Ericsson K510a comes with a beautiful camera of 1.3 MP / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder. It comes with a Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 7.00 hours and gives in standby 360 hours. Its creators incorporated a 28 MB memory, just enough a normal use! An attractive option of the Sony Ericsson K510a is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 128 x 160 px.
Sony Ericsson has designed its K510a with a 40 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add many ringtones. If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate the fact that the K510a supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Sony Ericsson K510a is based on J2ME / 3D Gaming, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the K510a supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The predictive text system is based on the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The K510a is built with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We finish by believing the Sony Ericsson K510a to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we happily suggest it to anyone interested in a good phone!
