Sony Ericsson M600i review
An outstanding phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson M600i, a phone that was conceived to compete this year's market. Unveiled around 01/4/2006 the M600i is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / UMTS 2100. Having a dimension of only 107 x 57 x 15 mm and having a weight of only 112 g, this phone has a perfect design. It comes with a Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 2.50 hours and lets in standby mode about 340 hours. Its engineers included a 80 MB memory, a good quantity for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory external memory can be added of format Memory Stick Micro memory cards.
An attractive option of the Sony Ericsson M600i is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 240 x 320 px. Sony Ericsson designed the M600i with a 40 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy the M600i supports custom themes. The gaming engine Sony Ericsson M600i runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the M600i has support for both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The predictive text system is using the Handwriting Recognition technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The M600i is supporting streaming media of type using the H.263 / 3GPP / AAC technology. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / UMTS technology. The M600i has an infrared port for wireless communication.
It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Sony Ericsson M600i to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
