An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson P800, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize this year's market. Unveiled around 01/1/2003 the P800 is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 117 x 59 x 27 mm while weighting only 159 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sony Ericsson P800 is equipped with a powerful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px. This phone arrives with a 1000 mAh Li-Polymer battery, enough to talk for about 13.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 400 hours. Its creators added a 32 MB memory, a good quantity a normal use! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with Memory Stick Duo memory cards.
An attractive option of the Sony Ericsson P800 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 208 x 144 px. Sony Ericsson has designed its P800 with a 24 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add tons of ringers. The gaming engine Sony Ericsson P800 is based on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the P800 enables both SMS and EMS.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all your multimedia messages! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Sony Ericsson provided a phone book with a capacity of 1000. The predictive text system is based on the Handwriting Recognition technology, being a top system for easy using. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The P800 uses an infrared port for wireless communication.
The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer data between both systems. We finish by believing the Sony Ericsson P800 to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a good phone!
