Sony Ericsson P900 review
A fantastic cell phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson P900, a phone that was designed to revolutionize this year's market. Unveiled around 01/10/2003 the P900 works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 115 x 57 x 24 mm and weighting only 150 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Sony Ericsson P900 comes with a compact camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Night Mode / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 1260 mAh Li-Polymer battery, enough to talk for about 16.00 hours and provides in standby mode 480 hours. Its engineers included a 48 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory external memory can be added of format Memory Stick Duo memory cards.
A cool thing of the Sony Ericsson P900 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 208 x 144 px. Sony Ericsson has modeled its P900 with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you love to skin your phone you will appreciate to know that the P900 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Sony Ericsson P900 is running on J2ME / Mophun, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the P900 has support for both SMS and EMS.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all multimedia files! The phone has a calendar which is very intuitive and Sony Ericsson included a phone book having a contact list capacity of 1000. The text prediction system is using the Handwriting Recognition technology, being very easy to use.
The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The P900 includes an infrared port for wireless data transfer. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Sony Ericsson P900 to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
