Released around 01/1/2003 the T226 works under the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Measuring only 101 x 43 x 18 mm and having a weight of only 79 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. It comes with a 670 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 7.50 hours and gives in standby 275 hours. The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 101 x 80 px. Sony Ericsson has designed its T226 with a 32 chords ringtone ringer, making a great phone for you to add all the ringtones you wish.
If you want a customizable phone you will appreciate the fact that the T226 supports custom themes. The game collection included in the Sony Ericsson T226 runs on Mophun, supporting fun little games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the T226 enables both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The calendar available is very intuitive and Sony Ericsson included a phone book enabling a contact list of 250. The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, being very easy to use.
The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 4) technology. We finish by believing the Sony Ericsson T226 to be a very interesting cell phone and we would recommend it to you!
