Released around 01/7/2007 the W580i supports the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 99 x 47 x 14 mm and weighting only 94 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Sony Ericsson W580i is including an interesting camera of 2.0 MP / 4X Zoom / Picture Blogging / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 9.00 hours and provides in standby mode 370 hours. Its engineers included a 12.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with Memory Stick Micro memory cards.
An attractive option of the Sony Ericsson W580i is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 240 x 320 px. If you want a customizable phone you will appreciate the fact that the W580i enables custom. The gaming engine Sony Ericsson W580i runs on J2ME / Mascot Capsule 3D, supporting fun little games! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the W580i enables both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The predictive text system uses the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Sony Ericsson W580i to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
