Sony Ericsson W600i review
A fantastic cell phone we have evaluated is the Sony Ericsson W600i, a cell phone that has been created to rival this year's market. Unveiled around 01/10/2005 the W600i is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 93 x 47 x 23 mm and weighting only 120 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sony Ericsson W600i also includes a beautiful camera of 1.3 MP / 4X Zoom / Flash / Video Recorder. It comes with a 900 mAh Li-Polymer battery, enabling a talk time of 8.50 hours and provides in standby mode 400 hours. Its engineers included a 256 MB memory, enough for a regular use! An attractive option of the Sony Ericsson W600i is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 176 x 220 px.
Sony Ericsson has equipped its W600i with a 40 chords ringtones engine, making a great phone for you to add tons of ringers. If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate to know that the W600i has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Sony Ericsson W600i is running on J2ME / Mascot Capsule 3D, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the W600i offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Sony Ericsson provided a phone book having a capacity of 1000. The text prediction tool is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the EDGE / GPRS (Class 10) technology.
The W600i includes an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We have found the Sony Ericsson W600i to be an awesome cell phone and we happily suggest it to our readers!
