Sony Ericsson W660i review
An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson W660i, a phone that was designed to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/4/2007 the W660i functions under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / UMTS 2100. Having a dimension of only 102 x 46 x 15 mm and having a weight of only 93 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sony Ericsson W660i comes with a nice little camera of 2.0 MP / Flash / 2.5X Zoom / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 6.00 hours and lasts in standby around 360 hours. Its creators incorporated a 16.0 MB memory, enough for a regular use! Summing to its internal memory external memory can be added of format Memory Stick Micro memory cards.
An interesting option of the Sony Ericsson W660i is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. If you want a customizable phone you will like to know the W660i supports custom themes. The gaming engine Sony Ericsson W660i is based on J2ME / Mascot Capsule 3D, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the W660i offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all your multimedia messages! The predictive text system uses the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / UMTS technology. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer information. We believe the Sony Ericsson W660i to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
