Unveiled around 01/10/2005 the W900 supports the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / UMTS 2100. Being of size 109 x 24 x 49 mm and weighting only 148 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Sony Ericsson W900 is equipped with a powerful camera of 2.0 MP / 8X Zoom / Flash / Auto-Focus / Video Calling / Video Recorder. It comes with a Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 8.40 hours and lasts in standby around 370 hours. Its creators added a 470 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with Memory Stick Pro memory cards.
A cool thing of the Sony Ericsson W900 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. Sony Ericsson has equipped its W900 with a 40 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy the W900 has customizable themes enabled. The gaming engine Sony Ericsson W900 is running on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the W900 supports both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The prediction text tool exploits the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / UMTS technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer information.
