An outstanding phone we had the chance to review is the Sony Ericsson Z550i, a cell phone that has been created to compete a very competitive market. Released around 01/7/2006 the Z550i works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 88 x 45 x 21 mm and having a weight of only 93 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Sony Ericsson Z550i comes with a powerful camera of 1.3 MP / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 5.50 hours and lasts in standby around 320 hours. Its engineers included a 20.0 MB memory, enough for a regular use! Summing to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with Memory Stick Micro memory cards.
A cool thing of the Sony Ericsson Z550i is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. Sony Ericsson built the Z550i with a 40 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add tons of ringers. If you love to skin your phone you will be happy to know the Z550i enables custom. The gaming system included in the Sony Ericsson Z550i is based on J2ME / Mascot Capsule 3D, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the Z550i offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The text prediction system exploits the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange information.
