T-Mobile MDA review
An interesting cell phone we had a look at is the T-Mobile MDA, a phone that was conceived to compete the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/1/2006 the MDA functions under the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 108 x 58 x 24 mm and weighting only 161 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The T-Mobile MDA also includes a beautiful camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 1040 px / Flash / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 1250 mAh Li-ion battery which lets you talk for about 5.00 hours and lasts in standby around 240 hours. Its creators added a 128 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
An attractive option of the T-Mobile MDA is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. If you love to skin your phone you will appreciate the fact that the MDA supports custom themes. The game collection included in the T-Mobile MDA runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the MDA has support for both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The MDA supports streaming media using the Windows Media Player technology. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The MDA uses an infrared port for all your data transfer. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to share data between both systems.
We believe the T-Mobile MDA to be a fantastic cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
